Online Registration

HOW DO I REGISTER FOR THE MY FREEDOM RETREAT??

The only way to register for the My Freedom Retreat is via www.myfreedomretreat.com.

Go to top tab: Packages Info/Book Now.

Select your package and whether you’re booking solo or a shared room. You’ll then be prompted to fill out fields requesting your name and contact details.

A non-refundable $500.00 deposit is required to secure your place.

Payments

ONCE I MAKE MY DEPOSIT, WHAT NOW? ?

After registering and providing your deposit fee, you can rest assure that your spot is secure. You will then be responsible for paying off your remaining dues by the deadline: June 1st, 2017.

We recommend that you make monthly payments until the end of May. You can do this by logging into your account and making a payment. We will also send emails to you reminding you of your balance and the payment deadline.

IS MY DEPOSIT REFUNDABLE??

Deposits are not refundable.

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT??

Deposit and remaining dues can be paid using PayPal, debit or credit card.

Flights and Transportation

ARE FLIGHTS INCLUDED IN THE COST??

No, each registrant is responsible for their own airfares.

Airfare is the only other expense you’ll cover. Once you land at Cancun International Airport we’ll get you to and from the resort.

DO YOU PROVIDE ASSISTANCE WITH BOOKING FLIGHTS??

Yes! Our dedicated Travel Consultant Ms. Nancy Sayers can assist with finding and booking your flights to (CUN) airport after you pay your deposit.

IS THERE A DEADLINE FOR BOOKING MY OWN FLIGHT??

No, however we highly recommend that you book airfare sooner rather than later. Why? So you can avoid heightened flight prices! Secure a seat and avoid missing time with the MFR crew!
You will need to supply us with your travel itinerary by that date so that we can arrange your pick up from the airport.

WHAT AIRPORT DO I FLY INTO??

Cancun International Airport. Code: CUN

DO I NEED A PASSPORT TO TRAVEL TO MEXICO??

Yes you will need a passport. PLEASE NOTE: All travel to Mexico requires that passports are valid for at least 6 months beyond the date of arrival.

Please check that your passport is valid until March, 2018

DO YOU PROVIDE AIRPORT TRANSFERS AND ON-THE GROUND TRANSPORTATION??

Yes, we will pick you up from Cancun International Airport upon arrival and drop you off for your return flight as a complimentary service.

Transportation to and from our off-resort excursion is is also included.

Retreat Itinerary

WHAT WILL THE ITINERARY CONSIST OF??

The MFR itinerary will be a sweet concoction of group sweat sessions, yoga and meditation classes. There will be time for you to relax and dedicate to yourself. Although we encourage all our guests to get to know one another, alone time will also be encouraged.

 

Here’s a brief overview of what you can expect on the itinerary:

  • Beach workouts
  • Yoga classes
  • Meditation sessions
  • Group conversations
  • Off-resort excursion to the Ruins.
  • Personal free time for some R&R, poolside reading/tanning
  • Perhaps you’ll take advantage of the Spa services at the resort.
WHAT FITNESS LEVEL IS REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE IN GROUP CLASSES??

All fitness levels are welcome!

Lita encourages everyone to partake in the fitness sessions she will lead. If you suffer from any ailments, soreness or have vulnerable joints, muscles, bones due to a previous injury please be sure to inform Lita before each class, she will modify movements for you.

DO I NEED TO BRING MY OWN EQUIPMENT FOR THE EXERCISE CLASSES??

No equipment needed. We’ll provided everything that is needed.

However, pack workout gear and trainers!

Food

ARE ALL MY MEALS INCLUDED??

Yes! Our hosting resort is an all-inclusive resort. All meals are included. The resort offers the finest in gourmet dining at their three restaurants, where reservations are never required.

 

Choose from an array of organic and heart-healthy à la carte dining options featuring locally grown fare and personalized dishes. Each restaurant on the resort serves gluten-free and vegetarian dishes, or can accommodate any allergy or dietary restriction.
Alcoholic beverages are included! Top shelf too!

CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE MY SPECIAL DIET??

Yes. Are you Vegan? Vegetarian? If so, yes and yes!

If you are Vegan please inform Nancy Sayers: nancys@shipsandtrips.com. If we know ahead of time who you are we can inform the chef on site about your diet restrictions so specific dishes are made available to you.

Miscellaneous

WILL THERE BE WIFI??

Yes! You will have access to FREE WIFI during your stay at the resort. Instructions on how to connect will be given upon check-in.

IS ALCOHOL INCLUDED??

Absolutely! Top shelf at that! You may order alcoholic beverages at no extra cost to you, all-inclusive is just that, all-inclusive!

We do encourage you drink responsibly.

IS THERE AN AGE REQUIREMENT??

No, there is no age restriction.

I’D LIKE TO ATTEND BUT I’M TRAVELING SOLO, CAN I ROOM WITH SOMEBODY IN THE SAME BOAT??

Possibly. Although we cannot guarantee it, there may be somebody else asking the same question and if so we’ll be making note. Please contact Nancy Sayers about sharing a room and she will do her best to partner you with somebody self looking for a roomie!
